Johannes Offerhaus is a designer and founder at Zelt.studio

ZELT conceptualises, designs and builds kinetic textile spaces and structures that unfold in textile pavilions; tents and structures; intimate spaces within our daily life and scenography for performances and film.

Johannes Offerhaus started his career in fashion. Working on kinetic couture pieces his work evolved to bigger kinetic installations. Since his studies at ArtEZ University of the Arts he has worked for brands like Viktor&Rolf, AlexanderWang, Porsche, Asics and Nike. With his autonomous work Johannes won a Frans Molenaar Couture award and a Dutch design award. ZELT has also enjoyed collaborations within the performing arts, creating set and costumes for productions like Papillon (Philarmonie Luxmebourg) and La Nostra Terra (a dance film by Thomas Born)
